Family with children pleased
The staff were very helpful when we checked in , though they handed us a paper without explaining much. Our room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfy, best sleep I've had in ages.
It wasn’t cheap , but considering the location and size of the room, it was still alright.

I stayed for 2 nights with my family and the location near the central attractions was a highlight. The spacious Superior Double Room provided great ocean views, and it was a breeze to walk to nearby eateries and the Taranaki Cathedral. Although we faced a little hassle with parking as the main lot was full, the friendly reception staff pointed out an alternative nearby. the room's comfort made for a pleasant stay, and the powerful shower added a nice touch, even if it wasn’t for everyone.

I almost gave this place a good review, but the room was filthy and the staff was rude. I certainly didn’t expect to find weeds and spit stains. After all the fuss, I thought some complimentary coffee woudl ve been a nice touch, but alas, disappointment reigned supreme. Just an absolute nightmare of a stay.

Great views and handy location in the heart of the city. The eco care options were impressive.
Elevator feels slow and sketchy, often leading to using the stairs. Limited parking caused us to park on surrounding roads. Noise from hallways was bothersome, requiring a towel to muffle it. Cleanliness issues persisted, like dust in hard-to-reach areas and mould in the bathroom. Breakfast service was slow, with a sparse buffet and issues with orders.

Fantastic views and excellent dining!
I loved my recent stay at this hotel, right across from the stunning coastal walkway—definitely a highlight for morning walks. The Salt restaurant surpassed my expectations with a delightful dinner selection, making it a memorable experience. The room was spotlessly clean and spacious, which made relaxing easy. it would be great if the parking situation was improved, as it got quite full during my stay.

Tried it so you don’t have to!
Stunning views of Mt Taranaki and ocean! Exceptional service at the Salt restaurant. The room was spacious and exceptionally clean. the shower had fantastic pressure too.
Check-in was a bit chaotic. the staff seemed overwhelmed. Limited parking options could be frustrating, especially during peak times.

had a great stay at the millenium hotel! the location is perfect being right on the waterfront with awesome views. room was super spacious with a comfy double bed, and it was nice and quiet too! check-in was smooth, and parking was easy to find. loved the walk along the water, it was a perfect way to start the day.
only downside was the bathroom could use a little update, and the coffee situation in the room was kinda lacking. also, it would have been sweet to have a porter at the desk.

Lovely Location but Lacking in Cleanliness
The views were stunning, and the location perfect for exploring the waterfront. I had a delightful breakfast, where staff were remarkably friendly, making the experience enjoyable. my room's cleanliness was disappointing. Future guests should ensure their room is checked beforehand.
